Sahana Bajpai- Lyricist and vocalist.Major in English Literature from Shantiniketan W Bengal and currently Lecturer at the Department of English,
BRAC University, Dhaka. Has received training in Indian Classical singing and Rabindrasangeet since childhood at Shantiniketan, W Bengal. She is also a trained dancer and as a graduate student she regularly performed as actor & dancer in theatre productions, esp. in dance-dramas by Tagore. She is immensely knowledgeable in Tagore’s literature and music.
Sahana is married to Arnob, one of the brightest new talents in Bangla music today and is the lyricist in most of his songs. Her brilliant use of imagery to express emotions is akin to songs written by Joni Mitchell.

Recordings include the Rabindrasangeet Nishitho raater badol dhara in the compilation album "Ektaaray Ganta" for which her singing received tremendous acclaim. She has also sung in several jingles and recently done a song with Bappa Mazumder titled Jibon chorcha. Her 1st solo album of songs by Rabindranath Tagore titled "Notun korey pabo boley".
