Shayan Chowdhury (Bengali: শায়ান চৌধুরী), better known by his nickname Arnob, is a Bangladeshi indie musician. Coming from a musical family - his uncle Tapan Chowdhury is also a singer - Arnob completed his school at Patha Bhavana and MFA in Kala Bhavana, Visva Bharati, Santiniketan .
Arnob is a member of the band Bangla. In addition, he has also released four solo albums.
Hok Kolorob is the second solo album of this celebrated fusion artist. This album consists of songs that Arnob had written during his years at Shantiniketan. This album also contains lyrics of sahana (musician),taufiq riaz and the songs are comparatively more melodious and simple in structure compared to his debut album Chaina Bhabish, which had a lot of experimental sounds. Among the big hits of Hok Kolorob are: Tomar Jonno, Tui Ki Janishna 2, Hok Kolorob, Tor Jonno, Bhalobasha Tar Por, etc.
Arnob released his 3rd album Doob in April 2008. It is his 3rd studio album. He worked with sahana bajpaie, Srabonti Narmeen Ali, Saad, the MAK, Zohad, Andrew, Idris rahman, Fariha Kamal, Rajib Ashraf etc. His distinct style and indie tune is still the core of this album but the studio produced sound may have its fair share of criticism.
Arnob released Latest album "Rod Boleche Hobe" in October 2010. It is his 4th studio album. And it is released from his own music company "Adhkhana Music". He tried to give his best effort for mixing indie style with rock genre in the album. The Best songs of the album are: Chithi Pathao, Eniye Biniye , Ke Ami?, Ami Jodi, Tomra Ja Bolo Tai Bolo etc.

At present He is the CEO of his own Music Company "Adhkhana Music". the Music company is searching for new talented musicians of all genres. He is working as a freelance music composer and singer.
Family
His father Shapan Chowdhury was a member of the team which sang songs for the freedom fighters of Bangladesh in 1971, which was shown in the documentary Muktir Gaan. His uncle Tapan Chowdhury is also a singer.
