Ahad Ali Sarkar

Md. Ahad Ali Sarkar was born in a respectable muslim family of Natore in 1952. He is the second son of Late Mr Musa Sarkar and Late Aliman Bibi. Mr Sarkar grew an intrest for politics and social services from the very beginning of his life. He was elected President of Bangladesh Chhattra League, College Unit during the tenure of his study at Natore College. When he was a student of B.A First Year, he joined the War of Independence at the call of the great leader Bangabandu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Anwar Hossain

Anwar Hossain Manju was born on January 1, 1946 in what is now the Pirojpur District of Bangladesh. Hossain has served a lifetime of positions in the government of Bangladesh. He was the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resource of Bangladesh from 1985 to 1988 under Hossain Mohammad Ershad.

Until now the principal focus of her work has been women's rights and entitlements, health legislation, health policy and management, health financing, strategic planning, and health and human rights under the Constitution and law in Bangladesh's economic and social development programmes and foreign policy issues of the region and globally.

Matia Chowdhury

Agriculture Minister Matia Chowdhury was born at Pirjopur district. As a student of Eden Girls' College in Dhaka she involved herself in student politics, becoming Vice President of the Students' Union in 1963.
